Autumn brings spectacular natural color exhibitions in coolers areas such as New England. But Florida has a lot to offer in Fall as well.
While Florida may be known more for its beaches and warm weather than its autumnal color displays, there are still sights worth seeing in Florida when the leaves begin to turn colors and fall from the trees.

Not surprisingly, the northern part of the state is a better place to see the fall colors change than South Florida.
In particular, Interstate 75 north from Tampa all the way up to Lake City is one of the best Fall color tours to take in autumn. This part of Florida features more hills and a multitude of deciduous trees which offer spectacular color changes that can differ by the day.
The corridor along Interstate 10 also is one of the most popular for travelers during the autumn months.
Along the extreme northern edge of the state, you will find many vast swaths of trees trading their summer green for oranges, classic red, yellows, and even purples in an explosion of Fall colors.

One of the best places in Florida to see the trees change color in the Fall is Torreya State Park, a 12,000-acre preserve that features spectacular views from the bluffs lining the Apalachicola River.
While the park is named for the extremely rare species of Torreya tree that only grows on theses stunning bluffs, it also includes hardwood forests that provide one of the most technicolor displays of fall colors found anywhere in the state.
Hike along the 16 miles of trails throughout the park’s scenic rolling hills or camp at one of the 29 campsites found throughout the property.
