The big question on many client’s minds right now is, “What safety measures are you taking to keep passengers safe from COVID-19?” The answer is very simple: All of them!
Our comprehensive list of cleaning and sanitation measures includes sanitizing every vehicle before, after, and even during each trip; requiring all drivers and other employees to wear Personal Protective Equipment; conducting pre-trip health screenings for our drivers and every other employee with potential guest contact, and even investing in costly equipment upgrades to our vehicles to keep them safer and healthier than ever.
People Who Care
At FloridaTours.com, we are committed to the health and safety of both our employees and our passengers. That’s why we take every measure required by law to protect against COVID-19 — plus a whole lot more!
For example, we recently replaced the air filter systems on our vehicles with state-of-the-art MERV-8 air filters to reduce airborne particulates and keep only clean air recirculating within the cabin. This helps protect passengers from breathing air that could potentially be infected with the coronavirus.
You also will find new hand sanitizing stations installed on every one of our vehicles so drivers and passengers alike can protect themselves from potential infection even during their trip.
Protective Measures
But that’s not all. We also have reviewed and updated our policies to reduce the risk of infection. Any bus that has carried a passenger who has tested positive for COVID-19 is not immediately taken out of service so it may be deep-cleaned and disinfected. Only after it has passed a thorough health screen inspection can it be to service.
Similarly, any driver or employee who displays any COVID-19 symptoms is immediately quarantined until they have tested negative for the virus.
These may seem like extreme measures for a small business to take, but at FloridaTours.com our top priority is your safety.
