Right now, FloridaTours.com is still providing charter buses for clients that need them. We will continue to provide this service as long as the situation warrants that it is safe. We are, however taking steps to protect our passengers, our employees, and our community.
These include:
- Screening drivers for illness and fever prior to every trip
- Deep-cleaning vehicles with hospital-grade sanitizer nightly and after every use
- Providing gloves to employees loading and unloading coaches
- Requiring employees with any symptoms to stay home
Right now, the state of Florida appears to be lagging behind the rest of the nation and the world in the number of cases of COVID-19. But this may change. If it does, like other Florida businesses we are prepared to do what it takes to protect our passengers and enhance the safety of our community.
What You Can Do
You probably already have been inundated with advice from medical experts, government officials, and others charged with protecting public health, such as washing your hands frequently, following social distancing protocols, and even staying home as much as possible. We can’t add anything more other than to say this:
Now is the time to take care of each other. Call your family members daily. Check on your neighbors, especially any elderly or disabled people in your area, to make sure they have what they need. Sometimes companionship or a kind word is the best thing you can provide.
In the end, we are all in this together. If we focus on caring for each other, in time we all can come out of this better, stronger, and more united as a community and as a nation.
